Description
Saplings can be gathered from leaves. When you mine leaves (1 in 20 chance), or when leaves decay there is a 1 in 20 chance for each leaf block to drop a sapling. The sapling drop “replaces” the leaf block drop—you do not get the leaf block if you get a sapling.
Saplings can be can be placed on any block and can either be placed on the surface or underground.
A sapling on dirt or a grass block will grow into regular or apple trees after some time.
Jungle Saplings are completely analog to saplings, the only differences are that these are gathered from jungle leaves and grow into jungle trees.
